Lending Services

Lending and information services are offered in two-shift operation by 16 librarians who take care for library stock of about 65 000 items accessible in Reading Rooms. In the library store there are about 200 000 items maintained by the Library Stock Development staff. The Periodicals Reading Room offers 320 periodicals, newspapers and magazines and a set of 1300 videotapes.

General Information and Advisory Services (tel. +420 585 631 750)
Library visitors are offered general information and advisory in a form of training sessions for groups of visitors or on continuous basis to individuals – searching documents in UP Union Catalogue (OPAC, TinWeb), in Czech National Bibliography and ASPI. These advisory services include instruction for users with sight defects.
